Learning Series
The BUILD Health Challenge, in collaboration with Dr. Dara Mendez, is publishing a special Learning Series that examines cross-cutting issues affecting the awardees’ work in their communities. Sites share what is working well? What’s not? What common challenges do the partnerships face? Join us in this exploration of learning with our communities as we identify lessons learned and best practices for promoting community health across the country as shared by BUILD sites.
Topics will include: Collaboration, Data, Community Engagement, Health Equity, Policy, and Sustainability.
Learning Series: Keys to Collaboration Report
This report details best practices and recommendations from many of the BUILD sites on the cultivation of successful cross-sector partnerships in public health. The findings are particularly relevant for community leaders interested in developing community-centered approaches to improving population health as well as funders interested in cultivating this type of work that is partner driven.
