ABOUT

Project ACCESS (Assessment and Community Collaboration to Engage and Strengthen Southeast Colorado Springs) worked to address social determinants of health and reduce the barriers that cause inequities for Southeast residents. Project ACCESS’s main objectives were to improve socioeconomic conditions and enhance social cohesion in the Southeast Springs by empowering residents to identify their community’s needs. Through strategic partnership building, space activation, and leadership building, Project ACCESS has been successful in catalyzing political and social movement in the community, and creating safe spaces for events, trainings, and community connection.
